Measurements instruments measure the output signal of the temperature sensor and convert it to a temperature indication or recording in engineering units. Transmitters are used in some measurement systems to amplify and condition the temperature signal. The accuracy of the measurement depends greatly on the accuracy of the temperature sensor and the connecting leadwire. The accuracy of the measurement instrument is defined in its specifications under referenced conditions for its power supply, ambient conditions(temperature and humidity), electrical noise rejection and maximum source impedance .The accuracy of the transmitter has similar qualifications.
Measurement instrument are classified by their displays, analog or digital, and whether they are recording or nonrecording types. Analog displays included meters and motor-driven pointers. Analog strip-chart or round-chart recorders include analog temperature indication. Digital displays are available with or without digital printers. In general, digital equipment is more accurate than analog equipment, but specifications must be checked in either case.
In the whole furnace system of our furnace, there are many related such measurement and control instruments ,such as thermocouplt ,temperature controller and so on .
